Some helpful tips when ordering your cake with us.

Allergy Information

All of our cakes are made in a small kitchen where nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame and gluten are used. For this reason, we cannot guarantee they are free from traces of these allergens.

Our team takes all the necessary steps to ensure cross-contamination doesn’t happen, however, there is always a risk that the products may have come into contact with each other.

Is a deposit required to secure my cake order?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total value is required to secure the booking for all cake orders.

Any items purchased via our online shop will require full payment.

ANY FORM OF CANCELLATION OR FAILURE TO COLLECT WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF DEPOSIT.

Will my cake come in a box?
This is the most asked question.

Yes, all cakes will be presented on a board and will be enclosed in a box to protect the cake.

Is the picture on my cake edible?
Yes, we use an edible printer, which uses food colouring to print the image and instead of paper, we use an icing sheet, which is more flexible and tastes better than wafer paper.
Do you deliver?
Unfortunately we are not able to deliver at this time in regards to our cakes, it is a collection service, however friends and family members are welcome to collect an order on a customer’s behalf.

Our brownies, can be delivered via postal service within the UK.

What allergens are in your products?
All our sponges may contain the following allergens: Wheat, Eggs, Milk, Soya and Nuts.

The sugar paste (fondant) that is used to cover our cakes and model edible figurines is produced in a factory which handles Almonds.

**We cannot guarantee that the factory that produces the ingredients we use is a nut free environment.

How do I store my cake?
It is recommended that you keep your cake in the box at room temperature until the cake is cut.

After the cake is cut, the cake is best kept in an airtight container or cling film to keep fresh.

Can I order a cake that is not on your website?
Yes, we are happy to assist and help customers to bring their vision into cake form.
Are you a shop or a home business?
We get asked this a lot, we work from a shop on Downend high street, Bristol.
Do I have to order in advance?
Yes. Please give one week’s notice. Cakes can be ordered in less time but this time depend on availability.
How long will my cake stay fresh?
Most of our sponges will last up to 5 days if covered correctly after cutting or it can be frozen up to 5 weeks.

Brownies, up to one week, or frozen up to a month.

Do the cakes contain anything inedible?
Possibly, depending on your design for example there may be straws or dowels used when constructing the cake. However, anything inedible will be discussed with you upon collection.
Can I order via e-mail?
Yes, you will need to call the shop to confirm your order and pay a deposit.
